Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log a win?
Tap the Log tab (center of the tab bar). You can either tap AI Photo Extract to photograph your jackpot screen — Oracle reads the amount, game name, and denomination automatically — or scroll down and fill in the fields manually. Tap Confirm & Save when done.
The AI photo extraction didn't read my screen correctly. What do I do?
AI extraction works best on well-lit, unobstructed jackpot screens. If the read is wrong or incomplete, just edit the pre-filled fields before saving — Oracle never saves anything without your confirmation. For best results: photograph straight-on, avoid glare, and make sure the win amount is fully visible. If a photo is completely unreadable, Oracle will show an error and keep the form open so you can enter the details manually.
Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?
All your wins, sessions, and casino profiles are stored on your device using SwiftData. If you have iCloud enabled on your iPhone, your data syncs automatically to your private iCloud account — this means it's backed up and restores if you get a new phone. We never see or have access to your data.
How do I restore my data on a new iPhone?
If iCloud sync is on, your data restores automatically when you install Oracle on a new device and sign in with the same Apple ID. No manual export needed. If you had iCloud off, you can export a PDF or CSV before switching devices — go to More → Export.
What is Oracle Pro and what does it include?
Oracle Pro is the optional subscription that unlocks advanced features: AI photo extraction, Share & Export for all vault cards, full analytics history, PDF exports, and priority support. Plans are $9.99/month or $79.99/year (save 33%). You can subscribe from More → Upgrade to Pro.
How do I cancel my Oracle Pro subscription?
Oracle Pro is managed entirely by Apple. To cancel: open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → find Oracle Slot Stats → tap Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not process cancellations directly.
I was charged but I don't have Pro features. What do I do?
First, try restoring your purchase: go to More → Upgrade to Pro → Restore Purchases. This re-links your Apple receipt to your account. If the features still don't appear, force-quit the app and reopen it. If the issue persists after that, email us at support@oracleslotstats.com with your Apple Order ID and we'll sort it out.
How do I share a win to Instagram or TikTok?
Open The Vault tab and tap any win card. Tap Share & Export (Pro feature). On the share screen, optionally add your win photo by tapping the photo zone at the top, then tap the platform you want — Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or X. Oracle generates a branded card and opens the app to post.
How does the Apple Watch app work?
The Oracle Watch app lets you log a win or open/close a casino session directly from your wrist — no phone needed. Your data syncs back to the iPhone app over Bluetooth. On your Watch, open the Oracle app to see your biggest win, today's total, and session status at a glance.
The app isn't showing my wins on the Home Screen widget.
Widgets update on iOS's background refresh schedule, not in real time. After logging a win, the widget typically updates within a few minutes. If it's stuck: long-press the widget → Edit Widget → tap away to force a refresh. If the widget shows no data at all, make sure Oracle has Background App Refresh enabled in Settings → Oracle Slot Stats → Background App Refresh.
How do I delete a win I logged by mistake?
Go to the Home tab → scroll to Recent Wins → tap the win to open it → tap the trash icon in the top-right corner. Alternatively, from The Vault, swipe left on a card to reveal the delete option.
Does Oracle work offline?
Yes — logging wins, viewing analytics, and browsing your vault all work completely offline. The only features that require an internet connection are AI photo extraction (sends the photo to Claude for processing) and iCloud sync.

Known Issues & Status

All systems operational

AI photo extraction, iCloud sync, and in-app purchases are all running normally.

Widget refresh delay

iOS limits background refresh frequency for Home Screen widgets. After logging a win, expect up to 5 minutes before the widget updates. This is an iOS platform limitation, not a bug.

AI extraction on older devices

AI photo extraction requires an active internet connection and performs best on iPhone 12 or later. On older devices, manual entry may be faster than waiting for the AI result.
