Oracle Slot Stats ("Oracle," "we," "our") is a jackpot tracking and analytics app for iOS and Apple Watch. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
Short version: Your jackpot data lives on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don't require an account. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. The only time your photos leave your device is when you choose to use AI photo extraction — and they are not stored after processing.
Data We Collect
Jackpot records
Win amount, bet size, denomination, date, casino name, machine name, notes, Oracle Journal entries, progressive name, and machine number. Stored on your device via SwiftData. Synced to your private iCloud account if iCloud is enabled — we never see this data.
Jackpot screen photos you upload are stored in the app's private container on your device (and in iCloud if sync is enabled). If you use AI photo extraction (Oracle Pro), the photo is sent to our AI provider for text extraction only. It is not stored, indexed, or used for training after processing.
Casino name, start and end time, total amount spent, and wins logged during a session. Stored locally.
Casino name, address, and GPS coordinates you enter manually or allow the app to detect. Stored locally.
If you grant location permission, the app records the GPS coordinates of your jackpot. This is stored only in your jackpot record — it is never transmitted to us. You can deny location permission and the app works fully without it.
Your Oracle Pro subscription is managed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We receive only an anonymous receipt that confirms your subscription is active. We never see your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials
- Behavioral analytics, usage tracking, or session recordings
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or cross-app tracking
- Crash logs or diagnostic data sent to us (iOS may send anonymized crash data to Apple)
- Any data from other apps on your device
How We Use Your Data
All jackpot records, session data, and photos you create in Oracle are used solely to power the features of the app — your archive, analytics, insights, and Vault. We do not aggregate your data across users, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the app's features to you.
AI photo extraction: when you upload a jackpot photo for extraction, the image is transmitted to our AI provider over an encrypted connection. The provider processes the image and returns extracted text (win amount, game name, etc.). The image is not retained by the provider after processing.
Third-Party Services
If you have iCloud enabled for Oracle, your jackpot records and photos sync across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it.
Jackpot screen photos are sent to our AI provider for text extraction only. The provider does not store or use your photos for model training. The extracted text is returned to the app and stored locally in your jackpot record.
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. We receive only an anonymous subscription receipt. Payment details remain with Apple and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you use the Oracle Apple Watch app, your stats and quick-log actions are transmitted between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This data travels only between your own devices over a local encrypted connection.
Data Storage & Security
All jackpot data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData with iOS's built-in encryption when your device is locked. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is encrypted in transit and at rest in Apple's infrastructure.
Photos stored in the app's container are protected by iOS's data protection APIs. Photos sent for AI extraction travel over HTTPS (TLS 1.3).
We do not operate servers that store your personal data. We have no database of your jackpots, sessions, or photos.
Children's Privacy
Oracle Slot Stats is rated 17+ on the App Store due to its casino gambling tracking category. The app is not directed at children under the age of 17, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Your Rights & Controls
California & International Users
Because Oracle does not collect personal information from users and does not sell data, most provisions of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) do not apply in practice. All data you create in Oracle belongs to you and lives on your device.
If you are located in the European Economic Area and believe you have a data request, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and post a notice in the app. Continued use of Oracle after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
